Day 1: Tangier – Tetouan – Chefchaouen

We travel toward Tetouan, located between the Rif Mountains and the Mediterranean coast. The city is known for its Andalusian influence and historic medina.

We then continue to Meknes, one of Morocco’s historic imperial cities. Depending on the schedule, you can explore parts of the medina, see the monumental gates, and enjoy lunch before continuing to Fes.
In the afternoon, we arrive in Fes, famous for its historic medina, traditional crafts, souks, and centuries-old cultural heritage.

Day 3: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Merzouga
Today we leave Fes and travel toward the Sahara Desert.
We cross the Middle Atlas Mountains and stop in Ifrane, a mountain town known for its distinctive architecture and alpine atmosphere.
The journey continues toward Azrou and its cedar forests before reaching Midelt, where we can stop for a break and lunch.
From there, we continue through the landscapes of southeastern Morocco, passing through Errachidia and the spectacular Ziz Valley.
By afternoon, we arrive in Merzouga, at the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes.
Here, you will begin your camel trek through the Sahara Desert. Ride across the dunes as the sun sets and continue to your desert camp.
At the camp, enjoy dinner and traditional music before spending the night beneath the Sahara sky.
Overnight: Merzouga desert camp.
Day 4: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley
Wake early if you would like to watch the sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes. After breakfast, return to Merzouga by camel or 4×4, depending on your chosen arrangement.
We then leave the desert and travel toward the Todra Valley, passing through changing landscapes, palm groves, small villages, and mountain scenery.
Our next stop is Todra Gorge, one of the most spectacular natural sites in southeastern Morocco. The towering canyon walls create a dramatic setting for a short walk and photographs.
After visiting the gorge, we continue toward the Dades Valley, known for its rocky landscapes, kasbahs, and agricultural oases.
Overnight: Dades Valley.
Day 5: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
After breakfast, we continue toward Ouarzazate through the scenic landscapes of southern Morocco.
We then visit Ait Ben Haddou, a historic fortified village built from earthen architecture and one of Morocco’s most famous cultural landmarks. Take time to walk through the narrow streets and explore the kasbahs while enjoying views over the surrounding valley.
From Ait Ben Haddou, we cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka route before descending toward Marrakech.
We arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon or evening, depending on road and sightseeing conditions, bringing your 5-day tour from Tangier to Marrakech to an end.
