As you travel through the Tizi Ntalghamt to Midelt and via the stunning Ziz Gorges carved by volcanic stone, you’ll witness vistas of the Middle Atlas and observe how the environment transforms to reveal signs of the desert as you approach the city of Errachidia. Following lunch, we will continue our eight-day journey from Casablanca to the imperial cities of Morocco via the Ziz Valley, Erfoud, Rissani, and Merzouga. After enjoying a cup of mint tea, we’ll leave our belongings in a room at the hotel.

At the camp, we erected Berber tents along with additional dining areas and a kitchen. We provide beds, coverings, and pads, and the tents are well-prepared with basic facilities. We gather around the fire after dinner to enjoy the desert night, possibly with traditional Berber drumming.

The tour continues to Ouarzazate, “the Hollywood of Africa,” a city whose geography and stunning landscapes have drawn many renowned filmmakers.
