Day 1: Casablanca – Meknes – Fes
Upon arriving at Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca or the train station, spend the first half-day exploring the landmarks of this large city. Visit the Hassan II Mosque, the third-largest mosque in the Islamic world that can hold over 86,000 worshippers. The minaret dominates the city’s horizon with its striking architecture that amazes every visitor. Drive along the paved Corniche of Ain Diab before reaching the famous Rick’s Cafe where the movie Casablanca was filmed.
We will continue on to Meknes, founded by the late Moulay Ismail in the 17th century. Later, we will continue our drive to Fes where we will spend our time.

We’ll leave Fes and head for Chefchaouen, passing through the picturesque coastal fields. We’ll drive by the city of Taza before arriving in the Rif Mountains, the heart of the serene blue and white city. As you approach Chefchaouen, you’ll be greeted by a stunning valley filled with blue-washed buildings. Check in at Dar Terrae, an Andalusian-style guesthouse, and enjoy a delicious tajine and couscous dinner with a glass of red wine on one of the inn’s three rooftop terraces.
