Itinerary of 3 days in Tangier tour on Morocco:
Day 1: Tanger-Tetouan-Rif Mountains–Chefchaouen:
After breakfast, we will head to WhiteBrid in the Rif Mountains. Tetouan blends Arab and Andalusian cultures. We will visit the new city, including Hassan II Square, Senators Square, the Spanish Nursery, the main mosque of North Africa, and the walls of the Kasbah. Enter the Medina through Bab Ok and take a guided tour of the old city, which includes the Jewish Quarter, the Andalusian section, the Berber market, and the women’s area as well as Guersael Kbira.
After exploring the old city, we will continue to Chefchaouen, an ideal location for discovering the Rif Mountains and one of Morocco’s most picturesque cities. Chefchaouen is a distinctive Berber city. Enjoy a tour of the blue city, visiting El Makhzen Palace, the famous Uta el Hamman Square, the Great Mosque (which dates back to the 15th century), and the Medina. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2: Chefchaouen-Volubilis-Meknes–Fes:
After breakfast in Chefchaouen, we head to Fes. Along the way, we stop at the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, which date back 2,000 years. Our guide will explain the significance of each building, making this history lesson fascinating and captivating. We then head to Meknes for lunch, a majestic city and UNESCO World Heritage Site. From there, we move on to Fes, which is full of tradition and stories, so don’t miss it. Make sure to try the famous hot olives and be adventurous, as this is a unique visit.
Day 3: Fes–Asilah–Tangier:
After breakfast, we will begin our tour from Fes to Tangier. We will make several stops, including Meknes, Rabat (the national capital) and Asilah (a charming coastal city). Highlights include the Hassan 2 Mosque and the Hassan Tower. We will also visit the new city and the California area. The tour ends in Chefchaouen.
