10 Days – North and Sahara

Day 1: Tangier - Chefchaouen

Upon arrival, we will welcome you on the ferry to Tangier and drive to Chefchaouen, where we will spend the night where is known as the blue city of Morocco. In the morning we will have breakfast in the lodging.

Day 2: Chefchaouen Meknes - Volubilis - Fes

After breakfast we will take a tour of Meknes including the Hdim square, Bab El Mansour, the massive gate that is the entrance to the old city and the Jewish quarter, the Royal Granaries and the city wall. We will leave for Volubilis, the Roman ncluí and Moulay Idriss, the sacred city. We will continue towards Fes. Accommodation in a traditional riad with breakfast included.

Day 3: Fes

You will have a guided tour with local guide to discover the medina and the famous souks of Fez, its narrow cobbled streets are full of old mosques and green glass minarets. You will visit the most beautiful palaces and monuments of Fez. The tour will include a visit to the tannery and the ceramics cooperative to see the traditional Moroccan handicrafts. Accommodation in a traditional riad with breakfast included.

Day 4: Fes - Midelt - Er-Rachidia - Sahara

In the morning we will visit Midelt, which offers spectacular views of the High Atlas mountains and then we will leave to Er-Rachidia a modern and urban city on the way to Rissani where, in the afternoon, we check in at a Kasbah Hotel .

Day 5: Sahara

After breakfast, we go out to explore the dunes and the Oasis. We depart to the nomadic lands, the Miffis mines, Tissardmine and then we have a meeting with the residents of the Khamilia people. In the afternoon, you have a walk on the dunes on camels to watch the sunset to the camps, where you have dinner and sleep.

Day 6: Sahara - The Dades Gorge

We will leave from the village of Merzouga to the Gorge of Dades, passing by the incredible and known Todra’s Gorge and the valley of Tidra, a village Berber. Accommodation in a hotel in Dades. Dinner and breakfast included.

Day 7: Dades - Marrakech

After breakfast, we will spend our whole day visiting Ouarzazate. We pass through the Valley of Roses, Skoura and then we arrive in Ouarzazate to visit the film studios. After the visit we will drive to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, an incredible UNESCO heritage site, where we will know a little more about the culture of its inhabitants and all the history that is sustained there. We will visit the Kasbah in the afternoon and leave for Marrakech through the passage of Tizi-N-Ticha. Arriving in Marrakech already at night, we stay in a riad where we have breakfast included.

Day 8: Marrakech

In Marrakech, you have the day off to explore its charming souk, one of the oldest and most traditional markets in the world, shopping, visiting some of its beautiful palaces and of course the well-known Jemaa el-Fna Square. In Marrakech we stay in a nice Riad where we have breakfast included.

Day 9: Marrakech - Essaouira

After breakfast we depart to one of the most well-known seaside towns in Morocco, Essaouira. There we spend the day. You have time to visit important monuments, attractions and places of interest in Essaouira. The exotic novels of Mogador will enchant you with the beauty of its beach, temperate climate and the bustle of its fishing port, there you have the opportunity to taste delicious fresh fish. Its Medina, which is protected by UNESCO, is unique, full of artisans specialized in marquetry, who will fascinate you with the fineness of your work. In the afternoon we will return to the accommodation in Marrakech.

Day 10: Marrakech - Tanger

After breakfast we return to Tanger.
