Day 1: Tanger >> Explore Tetouan >> Rif Mountains >> Chefchaouen:
When you arrive, you’ll meet your driver from at the port, airport, or hotel. He’ll take you to Chefchauen through the Rif Mountains, and when we get there, we’ll take you to your hotel so you can check in and have some free time to explore this Blue City’s history and secret treasures. With numerous artists and handcrafters creating items unique to this area, there is a lot to see and some fantastic shopping. Day 2: Chefchaouen - Visit Volubilis - Meknes – Fes:
We’ll go to Fes today via the Volubilis archaeological site, where you can see some of Morocco’s most well-known Roman remains (UNESCO World Heritage site in 1997). Afterwards we travel to Meknes, the Moroccan Ismaili capital. You will see the interesting Bab Mansour gate, which the sultan My Ismail constructed, as well as the granary and the Sahrij Souani, which were utilized for irrigation and cultivation, while in Meknes. Day 3: Fes-Touring Accompanied By An Official Nearby Guide:
Today, after a hearty breakfast, we’ll go to Merzouga Sahara Desert, one of our favorite places to visit, via the Middle Atlas Mountains, which offer a beautiful view of the surrounding landscape. Ifrane, also referred to as “Morocco’s Little Switzerland,” will be our next stop. After passing through Azrou and stopping to observe the Barbary monkeys, we will cross the middle atlas and arrive in Midelt, where we will have lunch before continuing on to Ziz Valley and Erfoud. Day 4: Fes–Ifrane-Erfoud–Camel trek in the Sahara & overnight in the Camp:
Today, after a hearty breakfast, we’ll go to Merzouga Sahara Desert, one of our favorite places to visit, via the Middle Atlas Mountains, which offer a beautiful view of the surrounding landscape. Day 5: Merzouga Desert - Nomadic families - Khamlia village:
We begin our tour of Erg Chebbi’s slopes in the beginning. We’ll go inside a Berber home and first listen to some Gnawa music from Sudan and Ghana. We’ll go to some desert palm tree springs, Berber migrants, and abandoned mines. We will travel to Merzouga for lunch. After taking some time to unwind, we will go for the camels that are waiting to take us on a ride across the sand hills. The trip will take 1.5 hours to get to within the ridges, and each person will have his own camel. After arriving at your own private tent, you can take a stroll across the hills to enjoy the spectacular nighttime sky and try sandboarding on the dunes. You will return to the camp after watching the sun set to enjoy mint tea, or Moroccan Berber Whisky as we like to call it. You will then enjoy a delicious Moroccan-style Berber tagine at the camp. The gathering will start after dinner. Local Berber musicians will perform traditional music with drums and movement. Day 6: Merzouga-Erfoud-Berber Vilages-Todra Gorges-Dades Valley:
